Job Description

We are seeking an Employee Technology Coordinator that will manage the assignment, tracking, setup, troubleshooting, and recovery of all company-owned technology and software licenses. This includes laptops, workstations, cell phones, tablets, and software platforms. They will work closely with IT to ensure employees are properly equipped with the technology they need, assist in configuring and activating devices, and verify that assets are accurately tracked and returned when no longer in use.

•Work closely with HR to assign and prepare technology assets for new hires, including mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and workstations.

•Configure, label, and document all issued devices to ensure standardized deployment.

•Manage the offboarding process by ensuring timely return, inspection, and logging of IT equipment for terminated or transitioning employees.

•Maintain procedures for device recovery in cases of non-return or unresponsiveness.

•Maintain a centralized inventory management system that tracks assignment history, device condition, ownership status, and lifecycle.

•Serve as the primary point of contact for HR regarding technology requirements during onboarding and offboarding.

•Track license utilization to ensure right-sizing and cost-effectiveness.

•Assist employees with device access issues and initial setup coordination.

•Communicate status updates related to device transfers, replacements, activation timing, and porting procedures as needed.

•Maintain documentation to support IT operational transparency, including asset logs and license records.

•Manage assignment and removal of software licenses, including Smartsheet, Adobe, ServiceTrade, Uptick, Exaktime, and Google Workspace administration.

•Support internal reviews and audits to ensure adherence to IT policy and asset accountability.

•Perform regular employee/license reconciliations to ensure terminated accounts are deactivated and unused licenses are reclaimed.

•Create, implement, and maintain Policies and Procedures related to Asset Control

•Oversee the data usage of tablets and mobile devices on Network Accounts

Requirements

Training and Certification Requirements:

•Strong organizational and tracking skills with emphasis on accountability.

•Excellent communication skills and ability to interface professionally with employees at all levels.

•Attention to detail with reliable follow-through.

•Ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and shifting priorities.

•Familiarity with IT equipment and basic device terminology.

•Experience with asset tracking tools, spreadsheets, or database systems preferred.
