Our Solar business delivers industry leading, U.S.-made solar components. We manufacture hyper-pure polysilicon, high-quality solar wafers, and innovative photovoltaic modules, leveraging our leadership in advanced manufacturing to serve growing energy demand. Role Purpose

The Employee Relations HR Specialist supporting Corning’s Solar Module Production facility in Tolleson, AZ, will focus on leading employee investigations, assessing findings, and driving proactive solutions that promote a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture. This role will also provide employee relations and investigation support across other Solar MAP manufacturing sites as needed. The ideal candidate is passionate about employee relations, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and is eager to grow into a future HR Manager role through increased responsibility and business partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Employee Relations, Plant Human Resource Manager, and Legal to conduct thorough and confidential investigations into employee complaints, workplace conflicts, and incidents.
  • Gather and analyze evidence, interview involved parties, and document findings clearly and concisely.
  • Ensure investigations comply with company policies, applicable federal/state labor laws, and ethical standards.
  • Partner with HR leadership to analyze investigation findings and identify opportunities to reduce recurring issues.
  • Develop and implement processes to share best practices, proactive strategies, and training to address workplace challenges.
  • Collaborate with management to promote a fair and inclusive environment aligned with Corning values.
  • Manage the ADA accommodation process and collaborates with Legal as needed to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of investigations, findings, and resolutions.
  • Prepare regular reports and metrics for HR leadership, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
  • Demonstrate investment in personal and professional growth in preparation for future HR leadership roles.
  • Support the broader HR team on additional initiatives/projects to build experience across key HR functions.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations, investigations, or conflict resolution preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

The range for this position is $67,200.00 - $92,400.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
