About The Team:
The Employee Relations (ER) Operations team is a global team dedicated to supporting a wide range of employee relations matters, including organization redesign/restructures, performance management, workplace conduct issues, employee injury and death cases, and other complex employee situations.
Our role goes beyond providing consultation and case management. We proactively partner with business leaders, HR teams, and key stakeholders to identify risks, ensure fair and consistent employment practices, and drive solutions while balancing business needs and compliance requirements.
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Business Partner to join the HR Operations – Employee Relations team, supporting stakeholders across Southeast Asia and APAC. This role will focus on managing complex employee relations matters, with a focus on organization redesign, workforce realignment, and performance management. The successful candidate will have proven experience supporting organization restructuring initiatives, advising on performance-related cases, and partnering with HR and business leaders to deliver effective employee relations outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess sound technical employee relations expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, has proven record in managing organization redesign, and the ability to manage competing cases in a fast-paced environment. This is a fully onsite role based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Manage ER cases including disciplinary issues, misconduct, performance concerns, grievances, redundancies, complex absences to successful resolution.
- Conduct independent investigations, of complex HR-related concerns and apply critical thinking to analyze evidence and make investigative conclusions.
- Provide advice and counsel to businesses on disciplinary and warning actions related to ER cases, policy interpretation and employment practices of the region.
- Maintain required standard of detailed ER case documentation, including investigation reports and issue analysis.
- Curate and deliver relevant training and education to improve HRBP and leader effectiveness and drive better ER decisions.
- Build partnerships with business leaders and HR Business partners to sustain positive employee relations practices.
- Foster strong working relationships with employment legal and investigations to balance risk, calibrate recommendations for decision-making.
- Examine trends to diagnose root causes and develop solutions to enable effective corrective actions.
- Ensure a coordinated and consistent case management approach to handling ER matters.
