P&C Employee Relations Manager

The Employee Relations Manager is an individual contributor responsible for leading employee relations, labor compliance, and workplace governance initiatives across the business. The role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, helping address workplace concerns, manage compliance risks, and promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and fair people practices.

[Success in this role requires a strong foundation in Employee Relations, Philippine labor laws, administrative due process, and stakeholder management, combined with sound judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to influence and guide stakeholders at all levels. While the role handles employee relations cases and compliance matters, there is also significant focus on manager education, policy governance, workplace compliance, and proactive risk mitigation.

Based primarily at the Batangas Factory, the role partners closely with P&C, Legal, Compliance, business leaders, and employees across the organization. The position may also require travel to sales offices and business locations nationwide to support employee relations initiatives and stakeholder needs.

As an Employee Relations Manager, you will:

• Lead and oversee employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases, grievances, workplace conflicts, and employee concerns.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, company policies, and administrative due process requirements.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to managers and stakeholders on employee relations and workplace conduct issues.
• Develop, review, implement, and maintain employee relations and compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Monitor and address labor compliance risks, contractor governance requirements, and third-party workforce compliance.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and business teams to resolve complex employee and labor-related matters.
• Conduct employee and manager education programs on labor standards, employee relations, workplace conduct, and company policies.
• Support government inspections, labor-related inquiries, audits, and compliance reviews when required.
• Monitor employee relations trends, compliance metrics, and risk indicators to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Drive process improvement initiatives that strengthen governance, compliance culture, and operational effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across different functions and organizational levels, from frontline employees to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Legal Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, HR Compliance, or HR Generalist roles with Employee Relations exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, labor standards, and administrative due process.
• Experience handling employee relations cases, workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of contractor governance, subcontracting, and third-party workforce compliance requirements.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, factory, industrial, or similarly complex operational environment is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to balance compliance requirements with business realities.
• Project management, process improvement, and change management experience is an advantage.
• Willing to work primarily from the Batangas Factory and travel as required by the business.
