Supporting our People
An opportunity has arisen to join our respected, specialist teamprovidingeffective Employee Relations advice to our businessstakeholders. Youwill report to an Employee Relations Manager and be part of our centre of excellence.
You will be the first point of contact for general queries relating to policy and procedures, providing high quality advice and guidance. In addition, you will provide a professional ER case management service to ensure our business managers deal effectively with their people management issues, in both informal and formal processes, in areas such as absence management, investigations, disciplinaries, flexible working requests, grievances & performance capability.
You will balance best practice with the need to support sound business decisions, whilst building strong working relationships to be able to persuade and reassure managers on a specific course ofaction, ensuringall implications are considered.

What does it take to be an Employee Relations Advisor?
A graduate or Level 5 CIPD qualified or equivalent HR management qualification or experience isadvantageous
Ability to build effective relationships across all business levels
A resilient individual who can manage emotional and distressingsituations
Previousexperience of caseload management isadvantageous
A logical thinker with the ability to problem solve, work to changingtime framesand reactive situations is essential
You will need to have ahighattention to detail
The roleisfast-pacedand you will need to be able tomulti-task
Evidence of being proficient in MS Office applications (particularly Word and Excel) and the ability to interpret and analysenumerical/statisticaldata
You will be expected to travel across the AW region
Proven up to date experience of Employment Law knowledge would be an advantage.
