
The Employee Benefits Account Manager – Large Group is responsible for managing complex client relationships and the full account lifecycle for mid and large group clients (50+ lives). This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring high-quality service delivery, client satisfaction, and retention.
The Account Manager partners closely with Account Executives, Client Advisors, and internal teams to execute strategic benefit programs, manage renewals, and deliver operational excellence across all service activities.
Requirements:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned large group clients
Own and manage the full post-sale client lifecycle
Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation
Interpret plan designs, eligibility structures, and contribution strategies
Monitor carrier discrepancies and resolve system issues
Coordinate cross-functional service delivery with internal teams
Support and execute renewal processes and timelines
Lead and coordinate open enrollment meetings and communications
Oversee client onboarding and vendor implementations
Client Management
Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and partners
Proactively resolve issues and anticipate client needs
Ensure timely communication and follow-through
Open Enrollment & Deliverables
Plan and execute OE strategy and timelines
Develop presentations, guides, and employee communications
Lead employee education sessions (virtual and onsite)
Education and Experience:
3+ years in employee benefits or insurance brokerage
Experience with large group clients (100+ lives preferred)
Knowledge of medical, dental, vision, and ancillary products
Life and Health license (or ability to obtain)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and benefits systems
Strong client relationship management
High attention to detail in fast-paced environments
Effective communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Collaborative and proactive mindset

Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
