Introduction to the job

In our dynamic international organization, employee health and well-being are a top priority. Within ASML Motion and Manufacturing Services, we are looking for an Employability Coach who enjoys a healthy challenge and wants to work closely with the logistics environment.

In this role, you contribute as a guide, advisor, analyst, and coach in the areas of prevention, reintegration, and sustainable employability. You work closely with managers on employability and absenteeism topics in a hands-on operational setting. This is a two-year role, offering a strong opportunity to broaden your experience and make visible impact, with the possibility to continue based on business needs.

If you get energized by understanding employability challenges and are passionate about vitality in a logistics environment, this role can be a strong next step.

Role and responsibilities

In this Employability Coach role, you work closely with line managers in a fast-paced logistics environment. You focus on prevention, early intervention, and sustainable employability rather than case ownership.

You will:

  • Coach and advise managers on employability and absenteeism across all relevant phases

  • Support managers during employee conversations and ensure appropriate follow-up documentation

  • Analyze employability and absenteeism data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

  • Monitor documentation quality and proactively challenge managers where needed

  • Coordinate sustainable return-to-work actions with internal health partners

  • Develop and implement employability action plans within Logistics Operations

  • Facilitate workshops and learning sessions to strengthen manager capability

Education and experience

  • Familiar with the HERA methodology or willing to develop this expertise

  • At least five years of experience in employability, health advisory, or people-focused roles

  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations related to absenteeism. A qualification such as CROV is an advantage

  • 80% or at least 4 days working on-site

  • Registration in Verzuimsignaal to ensure follow-up and handover

  • Primary focus on supporting the manager

  • Fluency in Dutch and English, spoken and written

Skills

Working at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that. You won’t work in a silo. Instead, you’ll be part of a creative, dynamic work environment where you’ll collaborate with supportive colleagues. There is always space for creative and unique points of view. You’ll have the flexibility and trust to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems.
To thrive in this job, you’ll need the following skills:

  • Build trust and strong relationships with managers at different levels

  • Communicate clearly and confidently in sensitive situations

  • Act proactively and recognize employability risks early

  • Use data and insights to drive practical improvements

  • Remain resilient and calm in a dynamic operational environment

  • Collaborate effectively with health and HR stakeholders

  • Adapt quickly to change and shifting business priorities

About ASML

Who are we?

ASML is an innovation leader in the global semiconductor industry. We make machines that chipmakers use to mass produce microchips. Founded in 1984 in the Netherlands with just a handful of employees, we’ve now grown to over 40,000 employees, 143 nationalities and more than 60 locations around the world.

What do we do?

We provide chipmakers with hardware, software and services to mass produce patterns on silicon through lithography. Our lithography systems use ultraviolet light to create billions of tiny structures on silicon that together make up a microchip. We push our technology to new limits to enable our customers to create smaller, faster and more powerful chips.

Who are our people?

While you may think that only engineers and mathematicians work at ASML, you'll be surprised to find out that our people come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Across ASML, we have dedicated teams that manage customer support, communications and media, IT, software development and more. Every team in the company is essential for pushing our technology and the industry forward.

If you love to tackle challenges and innovate in a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment with all the flexibility and freedom to unleash your full potential, ASML is the place to be.
