Our Design and Technology Enablement teams are working on the development of a broad portfolio of semiconductor technologies ranging from 350 nm down to 12nm including FD-SOI, RF, High-Voltage, and automotive applications.

This role describes anEMIRmethodologyengineertoidentifyIR drop, electromigrationissues& developautomation scripts Perl,Tcl, Skill & PythonThe successful candidateis required tohave experience in technically leading teams, specifying and scopingmethodologywork items, collaborating with internal and external partners, and mentoring junior colleagues.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • EMIRmethodologytoidentifyIR drop, electromigration issues

  • Shouldhavean analogdesign background,knowledgeof design tools and flows, a bit or DRC, LVS and PEX background (or willing to learn these things).

  • Develop automation scripts Perl,Tcl, Skill & Python.

  • EDA flows –partnerwith EDA vendors and internalPDKteams

  • Work with cross-geo, cross-functional teams to understand requirements and communicate resolutionin a timely manner

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Securityrequirementsand programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Basicknowledge of industry standard EDA tools and flows

  • Software skills todevelop automation scripts Perl,Tcl, Skill & Python.

  • Requires a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent degree in a related field from an accredited university

  • Language Fluency – Fluent in English Language – written & verbal. 

  • Must have proficient knowledge of and experience with Unix environment.

  • Must have good technical verbal and written communication skills andabilityto work with cross functional teams is necessary.

  • Be able to collaborate withprogrammingand technical design leads on multiple concurrent projects. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, written & oral communication,teaming& interpersonalskills

  • Familiarity with standard engineering practices like Version Control systems, Configuration Management and Regression process

Preferred Qualifications

  • EducationBachelors orMastersor PhD in Electrical Engineering with any

  • Experience - Relevant industry experience in Design flows,methodologydevelopment.

  • Skills -Perl,Tcl, Skill & Python

  • Basic understanding of java coding and/orgenAIinterest/coursework

  • Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate andexecutesolutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong planning& organizationalskills.
