If you can effectively evaluate client situations, analyze their needs, develop and present a compelling set of recommendations, and establish effective relationships, this may be the opportunity for you! Responsibilities:
  • Full and accurate knowledge of EFE products and services, planning tools, investment strategies, and other crucial aspects of personal financial planning processes
  • Effectively evaluate client life cycle stage(s) and identify financial goals; present appropriate solutions, products, services, and investment actions that best address client need.
  • Educate client on sophisticated financial planning principles, and articulate EFE value proposition relative to competition
  • Detailed follow-up to ensure all onboarding tasks are completed
  • Accurately and efficiently open client accounts and establish fund transfer/management
  • Maintain a highly efficient and productive approach to client management; handle interactions within set meeting time; use non-client time effectively for follow-up, client touches, etc.
  • Thrive in a high volume, fast paced sales environment where we balance a high quality client experience with efficiency and production to sales targets
  • Coordinate effectively with EFE account support staff to ensure timely and accurate administration
  • Proactively find opportunities to improve the client experience and/or EFE business; works collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement improvements
 Requirements:
  • 3-plus years financial advisory experience, or 5-years combined sales and financial advisory experience preferred
  • Track record of direct-to-consumer financial sales desired
  • Series 65 or 7/66 license required
  • CFP, CRPC, or other financial designation preferred or willingness to begin one of these designations within 6 months of start date
  • 4-year college degree strongly preferred; financial and/or business background preferred
  • Advanced literacy in computer-based analysis and decisioning tools
   Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $69,400 - $85,000. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as commission, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
