Creature Comforts has been serving Hong Kong pet families for over 23 years, beginning in 2002 as the city's first house-call veterinary service and expanding with the Veterinary TKO Center in 2021. We proudly introduce the East Island 24-Hour Animal Hospital in Shau Kei Wan this year. Spanning 11,000 square feet across two floors, it is Hong Kong Island's first veterinary hospital purpose-built around Fear Free® principles.

• Experienced Emergency Veterinary Nurse (4+ years' experience)

Emergency Nurse (Night)

Day-to-day duties

• Provide inpatient and emergency care to patients from surgery, oncology and internal medicine, assisting with incoming emergencies and be responsible for case handovers each day.
• Work closely with the teams to ensure high standards of care are provided around the clock to our patients
• Assist veterinarians with complex surgeries, consultations, diagnostic imaging, and other techniques
• Respond to client inquiries; including communicating and liaising professionally with clients, both in supervised and unsupervised situations, and recording and documenting client communication and feedback accordingly.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of veterinary nursing experience.
• Previous emergency and critical care experience will be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese (Cantonese is requried)
• Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, team player and good team spirit

Work Schedule:

• Full time: 4-day work week, 12 hours per work shift with 1-hour break.
• Locum On agreement
