Emergency Veterinarian - Walker Road Animal Hospital
Annual Salary: $150,000 - $240,000 per year based on experience

Join Walker Road Animal Hospital, a dynamic 24-hour general, emergency, and critical care hospital in Windsor, Ontario, where no two days are the same. Our team sees a diverse range of emergency and critical care cases while also providing some wellness care, giving our DVMs the opportunity to build their skills and explore their clinical interests.

Our team includes 9 DVMs, 21 RVTs/VAs, 6 VAs, 7 Client Care Representatives, and 2 administrative team members, including full-time, part-time, casual, locum, and independent contract team members.

A Diverse and Engaging Caseload
While our hospital primarily sees emergency and critical care patients, our veterinary team also provides some wellness care and includes clinicians with special interests in:
Exotic companion animals, including pocket pets and birds
Soft tissue surgery
Emergency and critical care medicine
We are proud to offer advanced diagnostic tools, including ultrasound and endoscopy, helping our team provide high-quality, comprehensive patient care.
Our brand-new facility was designed to support around-the-clock veterinary care and provide our team with the tools and space they need to deliver excellent medicine.

Our team believes in giving back to the community we serve. We've supported initiatives including Sparky's Toy Drive and canned food drives, and many members of our team are active and participating members of the Essex County Veterinary Association.
