Emergency Veterinarian – Maumee, Ohio

A veterinary hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join its collaborative and fast-paced medical team. This role focuses on providing urgent and critical care to patients, offering an opportunity to work on diverse cases while making a meaningful impact during high-need situations.This position is ideal for veterinarians who thrive in emergency settings, enjoy problem-solving, and are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency and critical care cases
• Stabilize patients and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Perform emergency procedures and interventions as needed
• Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with veterinary staff and support teams to ensure efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
• Uphold high standards of patient care and medical quality

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active or eligible veterinary license
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
