Emergency Veterinarian – Central Island Veterinary Emergency Hospital
Salary: $150,000–$185,000
Central Island Veterinary Emergency Hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing team in Nanaimo, BC! Central Island Veterinary Emergency Hospital is a busy small animal emergency hospital serving communities across Vancouver Island. For more than 14 years, we have provided high-quality emergency and surgical care for companion animals and exotic pets while supporting surrounding veterinary practices with after-hours emergency services. Our spacious and modern hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostics and treatment capabilities including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, advanced dental equipment, surgical suites, and a full in-house laboratory.
Our team is passionate about progressive medicine, collaboration, and patient care. The Opportunity
We are looking for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and brings both strong clinical skills and compassion to emergency patient care. You will work closely with the ER team to provide exceptional care for urgent and critical cases while supporting clients through stressful situations with empathy and professionalism.
