Looking for your next Emergency & Critical Care opportunity - without giving up the lifestyle? ARH Wollongong is looking for an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our growing team.

Located within easy reach of Wollongong’s beaches and approximately an hour from Sydney Airport, this is a great opportunity to combine rewarding clinical work with an enviable coastal lifestyle.

Overnight Availability is Mandatory

As a 24-hour emergency and critical care hospital, overnight availability is a mandatory requirement of this role. The majority of rostered hours will be scheduled across overnight shifts, with our current operational focus on Thursday to Sunday nights.

Applicants must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced emergency environment and be available to meet the overnight rostering requirements of the position.

We are open to discussing permanent part-time and casual arrangements; however, successful candidates must be able to commit to the overnight hours required to support the needs of the service and our patients.

About You

You’ll bring:

  • Veterinary degree and eligibility for NSW registration
  • Minimum 2 years' veterinary experience
  • Previous ECC experience highly desirable
  • Confidence managing emergency cases in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for emergency and critical care
  • Availability to work overnight shifts, particularly Thursday - Sunday nights
