Job Description

MedVet Wilmette will be a state-of-the-art 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital located outside of Chicago in beautiful Wilmette, Illinois. We are a proud part of the MedVet family, a network of specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients. About the Position 

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate emergency veterinarian to join our team. Interest and ability to perform emergency surgeries is desired but not required.   As an emergency veterinarian at MedVet Wilmette, you will be responsible for providing expert care to small animals in need of immediate medical attention. Our new hospital will feature state-of-the-art emergency equipment, patient rooms, and a triage area. You will work closely with our team of experienced veterinary technicians and specialists at MedVet Chicago to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Qualifications 
  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Valid Illinois veterinary license
  • Emergency and critical care experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong surgical skills (desired)
  • Passion for providing excellent patient care
