As an Emergency Services RN at Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro, you will be a vital part of a compassionate, mission-driven team delivering high-quality emergency care to our rural community. This role offers the flexibility of casual, on call work while allowing you to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit hospital environment. You will embody our mission of empathy amplified by providing timely, expert care in our 24/7 emergency room, supporting patients and families when they need it most.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes or emergencies
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and standards
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications

What you will need

• Valid Wisconsin State nursing license
• Minimum one year of Emergency Services nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
