The Opportunity

We are seeking qualified and highly experienced ESO/MESO’s to join our team. These roles are FIFO from Perth, typically 2 weeks on, with a mix of days and nights with ongoing opportunities for the right candidate

You’ll be a vital presence on the ground - responding to incidents, providing medical care and emergency response, running drills, and keeping people safe in some of the most dynamic environments across Australia.

About You

• 3+ years of experience in mine site emergency response or related field.
• Background in emergency management, fire services, defence or similar.
• Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols and procedures.
• Strong medical knowledge in emergency response.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other emergency services agencies and stakeholders
• Proactive & Solution focused
• Physically fit and ready for the demands of the job.

Essential Qualifications

• RII30719 – Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue OR PUA30622 – Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations) must include: Undertake confined space rescue (PUASAR025), Undertake vertical rescue (PUASAR032) and Road crash rescue (PUASAR024)
• HLT41120 – Certificate IV in Health Care (or higher)
• HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
• Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence to operate site fire appliances
• PUAVEH001 – Drive Vehicle Under Operational Conditions
• HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid – needs to be current within 3 years
• HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – needs to be current within 12 months
• UGSR_BG4 Underground Search & Rescue Closed Circuit BA (highly desirable)
