Nurse Manager – Emergency Services (Day or Evening Shift)

  • Frisco, Texas
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule Options:
    • Days (No Weekends)
    • Evenings ( No Weekends)
  • Monthly Salary: $8,867 – $13,304 (based on experience)
  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000
  • Relocation Assistance: Available (case by case)

We are hiring a Nurse Manager to lead Emergency Services operations across either day or evening shifts in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department.

This role offers flexibility in shift alignment and places you at the center of operational command—driving patient throughput, team performance, and care delivery during critical hours.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Emergency Department operations, staffing, and patient flow

  • Lead frontline nursing teams during high-volume periods

  • Drive improvements in throughput metrics such as wait times and length of stay

  • Partner with physicians and hospital leadership to optimize care delivery

  • Manage staffing schedules, productivity, and resource utilization

  • Support departmental budgeting and financial performance

  • Ensure adherence to clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and patient safety initiatives

  • Develop and mentor nursing staff, building a strong leadership pipeline

  • Address real-time operational challenges and escalate as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Active RN license (Texas or compact)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

  • 5+ years of Emergency Department experience

  • Progressive leadership experience in acute care or ED setting

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field

  • Experience managing high-volume ED throughput and operations

Certifications (Required within timelines)

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • PALS

  • TNCC (within 18 months)

  • ENPC or CEN (within 18 months)
