Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly experienced police professional to join our team as an Emergency Services Ambassador – Police based in Madrid. This role is ideal for a senior law enforcement leader with strong operational experience, proven leadership capability, and a passion for building trusted partnerships between public safety agencies and corporate stakeholders.
The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of Spanish policing frameworks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across government and emergency services. What Will You Work On
In this role, you will support the safe and effective integration of emerging transportation technologies by working closely with police services and other public safety agencies. The role combines proactive engagement, training, and operational support.
Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering training and education to law enforcement on emerging transportation technologies and emergency response applications
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with public safety officials through ongoing engagement, outreach, conferences, and presentations
• Supporting incident response by providing clear, accurate technical guidance to field personnel
• Gathering insights and feedback from emergency services and producing regular reports, assessments, and updates
• Developing and executing the strategic vision of the programme, continuously improving capability and effectiveness
• Applying technical understanding of new transportation technologies to support operational response and decision-making
Who You Will Work With
You will work as part of a team of experienced emergency services professionals, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners, including police agencies, government officials, and public safety organisations across Spain and beyond.
This role involves regular engagement with cross-functional teams, including technical specialists and global counterparts, ensuring alignment, consistency, and effective communication across regions.
What You Will Bring
Required:
• Minimum of 10 years’ service within policing in Madrid
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role, with experience managing teams and complex operations
• Strong understanding of Spanish policing frameworks and emergency response structures
• Proven experience in multi-agency collaboration and joint operations (police, fire, ambulance, security, cross-border initiatives)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders, government officials, and community partners
• Native or fluent Spanish language proficiency
Preferred:
• Degree in Criminology, Law, Policing Studies, Public Administration, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience working with or supporting emerging technologies
• Ability to communicate effectively in English within a global environment
