About the Role

Permanent | Full-time | 12-hour rotating shifts (days & nights)

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Service Officer (ESO) to join our HSE team at the Pinjarra Refinery. This role plays a critical part in protecting our people, assets and environment through effective emergency response, medical support and site security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and respond to emergency incidents, alarms and medical events

  • Act as on-scene commander for Level 1 incidents

  • Maintain emergency readiness, equipment, vehicles and fixed fire systems

  • Deliver emergency response, first aid and evacuation training and drills

  • Provide emergency medical and first aid care and manage patient transfers

  • Support site access control, security systems and asset protection

  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors and external emergency agencies

  • Conduct inspections, audits, investigations and post-incident reviews

  • Contribute to continuous improvement in emergency management and safety practices

What you can bring to the role:

  • Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue /Mines rescue required

  • Cert IV Health Care

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing

  • MS Office Skills/Computer Literate

  • Current Police Clearance
