Job Description

Shifts:
• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation:
• Hourly Pay Range: $30.60/hr – $45.90/hr (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials: +$4.25/hr Nights | +$3.00/hr Weekends (for 4+ productive hours)
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 for Night Shift
• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Emergency Room RNs to join a fast-paced, high-performing team. This position is ideal for nurses who excel in urgent, unpredictable environments and are confident managing diverse, high-acuity patient presentations. ER nurses in this department play a crucial role on the front line of emergency care, delivering rapid, accurate interventions with professionalism and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Manage multiple cases, from minor injuries to acute and life-threatening emergencies
• Monitor and document vital signs, administer medications, and evaluate patient responses
• Provide clear discharge instructions and coordinate referrals as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary clinical teams
• Adhere to all safety protocols, HIPAA standards, and infection control guidelines
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, conditions, and follow-up care
• Participate in ongoing education, training, and departmental initiatives
• Support patient advocacy, quality improvement, and organizational goals

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (ED, ICU, or PCU preferred)
• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must convert within 60 days)
• BLS (AHA) – within 30 days of hire
• ACLS (AHA) – within 90 days of hire
• PALS or ENPC – within 90 days of hire
• TNCC – within 6 months of hire
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) – within 6 months
• Paramedic experience is a plus
