A 140+ bed acute care hospital in Lake City, Florida is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RN) to join a high-performing Emergency Department team.
This hospital is an Accredited Primary Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and holds Disease-Specific Certification for Sepsis. The ER RN will deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced acute care environment serving Columbia and surrounding counties.
Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care using evidence-based practice.
Assess, monitor, and reassess patients, including pain management and response to interventions.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered.
Document all care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate emergency care.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
Anticipate patient needs and respond promptly in critical situations.
Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes.
Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
Minimum 1 year of acute care Emergency Room RN experience
BLS (within 30 days of hire)
ACLS (within 30 days of hire)
PALS (within 30 days of hire)
BSN
Experience in high-volume Emergency Department settings
Competitive hourly pay based on experience
Night shift differential: $4.25/hour
