Purpose: Provide rescue and emergency response for confined spaces and highangle operations during TAR.
Reports to: ERT Lead / ORYX HSE | Work Schedule: Schedule3 (12 h/day, 6 d/wk; day or night) | Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
Standby rescue coverage for confined space and WAH tasks; support emergency drills and response.
Set up and operate rescue systems; maintain ERT equipment (ropes, tripods, breathing air).
Coordinate with PTW/Area Authority during TAR jobs.
Minimum Qualifications/Certifications:
Competency per NFPA 1006 & 1670 (Confined Space Rescue) documented per OSHA 1910.146.
Standard First Aid/CPR with AED.
IRATA Level 1 (Team Member).
Minimum Experience:
5+ years industryspecific Oil & Gas experience as Emergency Response Technician.
JobSpecific Skills (must/strongly preferred):
Confined space & rope rescue systems; BA operations; communication under emergency conditions.
