Emergency Recovery Coordinator – Property Restoration
Job Purpose
Emergency Recovery Coordinators focus on customer care, securing project opportunities for Emergency and Restoration Services, provide quick response, competitive pricing, and product differentiation based on circumstance and customer influences. ERCs generate and respond to revenue opportunities at both the residential and commercial-property level. They collaborate directly with local public emergency response agencies and private entities to support their operational goals. Emergency Recovery Coordinators help to increase our community footprint by participating in community awareness events and programs. Key Skills Include:

  • Leadership, communication, as well as interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • High stress tolerance and the ability to work under pressure are paramount to job success.
  • Considerable emotional intelligence, compassion and a dogged determination for protecting the customer while making the sale.
  • Strong knowledge of restoration products and services.
  • Must be a dynamic speaker and comfortable when interacting in both one-on-one and group settings.

Core Competencies:Successful candidates possess the following skills and characteristics:Can sense the right time to approach a customer with our services, a confident and self-motivated attitude, and kind personality. Emergency Response Coordinators have sales experience, are organized and work well independently in high-stress field environments. Responsibilities:

  • Establish and grow relationships within the First Responder Community
  • Monitor social media and other emergency notification systems
  • Responsible for educating the customer on products and services
  • Secure Emergency and Restoration Services opportunities that result from property disasters.
  • Coordinate emergency response crews
  • Seek opportunities for branding and greater community involvement

Requirements

  • 4 - 6 years’ experience in any of the following or a combination thereof:
    • Restoration, Military, Fire Service, EMS, Construction, Insurance, Sales and Customer Service
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent driving record with the ability to travel within our territory
