St. Mary's Health System, a Member of Covenant Health, is actively seeking a per diem BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to support St. Mary’s Emergency Department in Lewiston, ME.
The Emergency Department has recently been updated with advanced equipment and has 22 exam rooms. We are staffed with Emergency Medicine-trained Physicians and additional daily coverage with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. Sub-specialties such as Surgery, Cardiology, Hospitalists, Pediatricians, Neurology, Orthopedics, OB/Gyn and Psychiatry are available to assist with the care of our patients. Additionally, there is a dedicated behavioral/mental health emergency department staffed with dedicated psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses and staff. St. Mary’s has inpatient child/adolescence psychiatric services as well as adult psychiatric and chemical dependency services.

Community Clinical Services is a FQHC affiliated with St. Mary’s which provides psychiatric services to our community. St. Mary's d’Youville Pavilion, dedicated to long-term care and St. Mary's Residences, an independent living center. St. Mary's Auburn Campus: St. Mary’s Orthopedics, the Center for Physical Rehab, the Center for Sleep Disorders, Cardiopulmonary Rehab, along with on-site lab and x-ray services.
