Emergency Nurse – Full time Team Lead Position

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of experienced emergency nurses in collaboration with other team leaders, Veterinary Director, and Practice Manager
• Support a positive culture and have fun with your team
• Maintain a high standard of patient and client care
• Communicate effectively with your team
• Rostered alongside your team leading by example
• Engage in ongoing professional development

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing. Preferably experienced in a leadership position (Practice Manager)
• 5 + years of experience in a busy GP clinic or in an emergency/critical care role
• Strong technical skills (IV catheter placement, blood sampling, anaesthesia monitoring)
• Calm, focused, and compassionate under pressure
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for patient and client care
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays on a rotating roster with time to plan for your team’s success
