Team of six ED physicians plus strong support (full-time hospitalist coverage, four general surgeons, three ortho, three OB, two podiatrists, three pediatricians, psychiatry, CRNAs, etc.)
24/7 Access to system Service Lines (Mental Health, Cardiology, Neurology, Pediatrics, etc.)
95K visits annually
Eleven bed ED
Experienced team ofnurses and employed EMS
Level IV Trauma Center, Stroke Ready
Easy transfers to affiliated tertiary care hospital network
Epic with dragon dictation
Position Highlights:
1.5 hours from Twin Cities
12-hour shifts, flexible scheduling
Ability to schedule straight day shifts and block schedule for commute needs
Local house sharing options
Express Care Clinic open daily and staffed by clinic providers
Hospital employed model
Straight hourly rate with 1.5x holiday pay
Provide patient care and immediate recognition, evaluation, care and stabilization of adult and pediatric patients
Provide immediate decision-making and action necessary to prevent death or any further disability in the prehospital setting by directing emergency medical technicians and in the emergency department.
Review patient medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
Evaluate, interpret, and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
Provide education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families
Practice with consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy, and legal responsibilities
Actively participate in multidisciplinary team approach to case management
May provide care in an ambulatory clinic, inpatient or outpatient hospital setting
Utilize quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in the delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows

Pay Range
Pay Range: $353,309 to $441,646 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
