JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD-136609 Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Longview, Texas Coverage Period: Oct 17, 2026 – Ongoing Reason for Coverage: Coverage Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: Approximately 23 patients per day FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 12 Trauma Level: Level III EMR System: Epic with Abridge AI Note PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Moderate Sedation Deep Sedation JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA) Licenses: Active unrestricted Texas medical license DEA / CDS: Active DEA registration with Texas address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 required Certifications: ACLS, ATLS required Experience: Active Emergency Department practice within past 12 months; 100 ED procedures in past 2 years Other Qualifications: Residency in ACGME/AOA accredited Emergency Medicine program; case logs for past 2 years; completion of specific CME courses prior to orientation DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department. Manage and stabilize acute medical conditions, including trauma, medical emergencies, and critical care. Perform required procedures including moderate and deep sedation. Collaborate with NP/PA providers and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR.
