Manage 12-hour shifts (8a-8p or 8p-8a) as the sole physician on duty. Evaluate and treat approximately 17 patients per day, including admissions, observations, and transfers. Respond to inpatient codes as needed. Collaborate with limited specialty backup including surgery and cardiology.
