JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (ABEM preferred)
• Licenses: Active Louisiana medical license required
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS required if not ABEM certified
• Experience: Residency trained in EM, FM, or IM

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
• Manage acute and chronic conditions in the emergency department
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with specialty backup and support staff
• Document patient encounters in Ochsner EPIC EMR
