Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with a valid DCAS License or DCAS Eligibility to join a leading emergency medical services provider in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver pre-hospital emergency care, assess and stabilize patients, provide life-saving interventions, and ensure safe transportation to appropriate healthcare facilities while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls.
- Assess patients' conditions and provide immediate pre-hospital medical care.
- Perform Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) assistance as per DCAS protocols and scope of practice.
- Administer oxygen therapy, CPR, AED, airway management, bleeding control, spinal immobilization, splinting, and other emergency interventions.
- Safely transport patients while continuously monitoring their condition.
- Communicate effectively with emergency physicians, hospitals, dispatch centers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate patient care reports and clinical documentation.
- Inspect, maintain, and prepare ambulances, medical equipment, and emergency supplies.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and occupational health guidelines.
- Participate in disaster response, mass casualty incidents, and community emergency preparedness activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with DCAS regulations, UAE healthcare standards, and organizational policies.
- Participate in shift work, weekends, public holidays, and on-call duties as required.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Medical Services, Paramedicine, or a related healthcare field.
- Valid DCAS License or DCAS Eligibility is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Emergency Medical Technician, Ambulance Technician, or in a pre-hospital emergency care setting.
- Current certification in BLS is mandatory.
- ACLS, PHTLS, ITLS, or PALS certifications are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of emergency assessment, trauma management, and life support protocols.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and transporting patients safely.
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred, depending on employer requirements).
