Position: Emergency Medical Technician (DOH,DHA,MOH)
Star Services LLC is a leading healthcare staffing agency that provides highly qualified medical professionals to hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team on a full-time basis.
As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in need. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, treat, and transport patients to the appropriate medical facility. This is a fast-paced and challenging position that requires quick thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate medical care to patients in need.
- Assess the patient's condition and provide necessary treatment, such as administering medication, performing CPR, or bandaging wounds.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals, including paramedics, nurses, and doctors, to ensure the best course of treatment for the patient.
- Safely transport patients to the appropriate medical facility, while providing ongoing medical care during transport.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and the patient.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest medical techniques and procedures through continuous education and training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as an EMT.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an EMT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and be on-call as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
