Leidos’ Defense Systems is seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities.
• Member of IMCOM HHA inspection team, ensuring compliance with Army quality and regulatory standards.
• Provide hands-on leadership to the IMCOM HHA team, mentoring and developing inspectors to ensure efficient operational support and continuous improvement.
• Coach, train, and guide program quality staff to align with the Management System and Defense Systems Sector requirements.
• Foster a program strategy and culture committed to excellence and Leidos values, enabling rapid manufacturing scaling.
Emergency Management / CBRN
• Conduct Inspections of Army Installations for compliance with Department of the Army policies and procedures.
Interface with Fire Departments and Emergency Services on Army Installations.
Experience working with both DOD and Civil agencies for emergency response.
Experienced with FEMA HSEEP and response procedures.
Basic Qualifications.
• Bachelor’s degree. Quality Management, or related discipline with 5+ years of experience, including prior leadership of quality or mission assurance teams in defense/aerospace production. In lieu of degree, 10+ years’ experience in the CBRN and Emergency Management environment. OR Master's degree, or related discipline with 3+ years of experience, including prior leadership of quality or mission assurance teams in defense/aerospace production.
• Strong background in management for complex security defense problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead customer interactions with Army emergency management offices.
• U.S. Citizenship required; must have or be eligible for a Secret clearance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant experience with all aspects of quality in a Defense and Force Protection based environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a US Citizen, possess a DoD secret clearance or able to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain credentials to access government installations.
• Must be proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office products.
• Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications.
• Former US Military with CBRN / Emergency Management background
• Familiarity with Military Regulations and compliance procedures
• Experience with both CONUS and OCONUS threat environments to Department of War facilities.
Experience as a member of a HRF / CEFRP, WMD-CST or other CBRN unit.
Experience in operations in the Homeland and OCONUS regarding CBRN and Emergency Management events.

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
