
Primary responsibility is to provide strong, prioritized patient care in a variety of urgent or emergent situations while maintaining a global perspective of the department.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. Current Vermont RN license in good standing. Two-three years’ experience in Emergency Nursing. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, required. TNCC, ENPC, and CEN preferred.
Other Requirements: Computer skills and familiarity with using an electronic medical record essential. Excellent customer services skills. Strong team player and ability to function autonomously. Must be willing to work nights.

Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital is an independent, non-profit critical access hospital and rural health clinic located in Townshend, Vermont. The 19-bed hospital specializes in serving patients with acute, rehabilitative and palliative care needs. The hospital has a 24/7 emergency department, a diagnostic imaging department and a full-service laboratory. Grace Cottage Family Health has twelve primary care providers, a pediatrician, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and podiatrist. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy are offered to inpatients and outpatients. The hospital also operates a retail pharmacy, Messenger Valley Pharmacy.
