EMEA Senior Finance Manager Marketing COE (M/F)

Haddenham, UK / Avignon, France / Lodz and Stefanowo, Poland

EMEA Consumer Innovation and A&P business partnering, CAPEX for Commercial Investment and Office for Consume

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the accurate consolidation of regional plans, budgets and forecasts within the agreed timeline.
  • Leading, managing and supporting the preparation of plans, budgets and forecasts consistent with Corporate Guidelines.
  • Leading, managing and supporting the production of value-added insights into the operating results of the business and make suggestions on how to overcome gaps and make improvements.
  • Overseeing the first level of financial analysis on actual results of the region as part of the month closing process.
  • Preparing management reporting and analysis, providing meaningful and fact-based insights to support local and regional finance teams.
  • Managing the ad hoc reporting and analysis requests. Developing reporting and tracking to drive improvements.
  • Developing fact-based insights, analysis and reporting to support finance business partners, including scenario modelling, brand/ category portfolio analysis, business cases and CCI.
  • Leading the development of bottom-up insights on cost management, driving cost efficiency across the region.
  • Introducing new data management models and data governance practices in portfolio management.
  • Supporting local markets with advertising and promotion pre-evaluations and post-evaluations to drive knowledge on best way to allocate resources.

Dimension:

  • Managing a budget across 12 operating units and innovation pipeline.
  • Supporting marketing managers and commercial finance heads across 12 markets, marketing VP and senior directors responsible for commercialization and marketing.
  • Close cross-functional work is required also with IT.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance or a related discipline. CIMA is an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience gained in Finance/Commercial Functions in FMCG, Retail company.
  • Significant experience in cost control, budgeting and forecasting is a must.
  • Excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of financial and analytical techniques.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and basic proficiency of MS PowerPoint & Word required. SAP/TM1 experience is advantageous.
  • PBI and Database building, managing large and complex level of data is a must.
  • Ability to influence and interact effectively with all levels and areas of the organization.
