Your specific responsibilities will consist of:

Role priorities: consistent molecular technical training across EMEA; improved service readiness for molecular platforms; strengthened regional expert capability; effective knowledge transfer that supports faster, more accurate troubleshooting and reduced escalation dependency.

Acquiring, maintaining and transferring knowledge

  • Maintain advanced knowledge of ADx molecular diagnostic platforms, workflows, software, connectivity, service procedures and troubleshooting methods.
  • Keep molecular platform knowledge current through field feedback, service bulletins, product updates, quality notifications and collaboration with global subject matter experts.
  • Participate in molecular technical forums to share best practices, training needs, issue trends and resolution strategies.
  • Build and sustain an EMEA molecular training and expert network with Customer Remote Support, Field Service, Country Product Technical Specialists and regional trainers to accelerate knowledge transfer and consistent support execution.

Training

  • Develop, maintain and deliver molecular technical training covering installation, maintenance, system operation, troubleshooting, workflow, connectivity and escalation handling.
  • Create and update training materials, practical exercises, assessments, trainer guides and knowledge resources that improve EMEA Technical Service capability and remain aligned with current service documentation and quality requirements.
  • Coach regional trainers, Technical Instrument Specialists and Field Service Engineers to deliver consistent molecular training and reinforce standard troubleshooting approaches.
  • Communicate molecular technical guidelines, procedures, service resources and documentation to field-based and remote support associates.

Organizational support

  • Support technical and training readiness for molecular new products, software releases, upgrades and service campaigns, including prelaunch activities and regional readiness reviews.
  • Partner with Regional Support, Customer Remote Support, Field Service, Application, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure training supports business needs, customer continuity and service execution.
  • Monitor training feedback, service trends and recurring knowledge gaps to improve training content, learning effectiveness and regional capability development.

Remote support, diagnostics & troubleshooting capability

  • Work closely with Customer Remote Support and Field Service to embed molecular troubleshooting discipline, remote diagnostics practices, log review methods and first-time resolution principles into training programmes.
  • Translate complex molecular technical issues and lessons learned into practical training modules, case studies and knowledge resources.
  • Support escalations when needed by helping identify training gaps, reinforcing correct troubleshooting processes and sharing learning back into the regional training curriculum.

Field corrective actions, upgrades & service readiness

  • Support Regional Support in preparing training and communication packages for molecular field corrective actions, upgrades, software updates and service campaigns.
  • Maintain compliance with ADx quality regulations and molecular platform-specific service, documentation, training and escalation requirements.

Functional administrative reporting

  • Manage personal planning and training delivery schedules in agreement with the Manager.
  • Follow administrative processes for training records, course documentation, learning assessments, ServiceMax-related knowledge capture, technical reporting and training effectiveness feedback.

Requirements (qualifications / experience)

  • Engineering degree in electromechanics, electronics, automation, software, physics, biomedical science or equivalent experience.
