This role is responsible for managing a team of EMEA FAEs to drive the Demand Creation strategy to meet / exceed EBV design win and gross profit goals. On top this role acts as EMEA FAE on assigned technologies.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Coordinate the deployment of technical resources within the assigned area of responsibility and provide direction and guidance to team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technical activities and programs in collaboration with the Director Technical Marketing.
  • Assess technical requirements of strategic opportunities and allocate appropriate engineering resources to support business objectives.
  • Define and implement the tools and infrastructure required to support and optimize technical programs (e.g., capital equipment, hardware, software).
  • Identify and drive training initiatives to ensure EMEA FAEs maintain competitive, up-to-date capabilities (including cross-training, supplier training, technology training, and relevant certifications).
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring strong technical alignment and communication.
  • Deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and educational programs both internally and to customers.
  • Lead and manage the FAE team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation reviews, vacation planning, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and offboarding.
  • Support and develop direct reports by creating growth and development opportunities, including coaching, training, and performance management, to build a strong and diverse talent pipeline.
  • Ensure the team maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies, market trends, competitor activities, and innovations within the electronics industry.
  • Act as EMEA FAE for assigned technologies, providing hands-on technical expertise and customer support where required.

The Ideal Person:

  • 5+ years experience of application engineering preferably in electronic industry and in an electronics discipline in R&D
  • Ideally 3+ years experience in people management
  • Fluent in English (verbally and in writing)
  • University degree in Electronics or similar
  • Willing to travel across Europe
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and summarize statistical data
  • Ability to exercise sound, independent judgement in resolving problems without established operating policies and procedures
  • Interpersonal skills that demonstrate intellectual and emotional intelligence to build credible working relationships at all levels and cross-functionally.
  • Leadership, organizational, and planning skills that create an engaged and motivated team which reaches individual, department and business goals/KPI’s.
  • Very good communication skills with the ability to present views in a clear, concise, and persuasive way, both verbally and in writing.
