**Responsibilities**

The Embedded SW Engineer II will be responsible for executing embedded software development activities for automotive Active Safety products, with primary focus on Brake Systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Execute comprehensive embedded software development activities encompassing requirements analysis, architectural design, implementation, configuration, validation, and technical documentation for Active Safety products, specifically Brake Systems.
  • Implement assigned requirements and technical tasks with precision and adherence to project specifications.
  • Conduct rigorous software maintenance and validation activities, including systematic debugging, comprehensive testing, configuration management, and detailed technical documentation.
  • Perform integration of application software components and manage associated integration activities, including documentation and validation testing.
  • Ensure compliance with Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and established quality standards throughout all development phases.

Qualifications

Must

  • Intermediate understanding of Automotive Braking Systems.
  • More than 1 or 2 years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software, preferably working in Braking Systems.
  • Proficient C programming experience or similar programming languages.
  • Ability to debug electronic hardware and test vehicles.
  • Experience with the following: functional embedded software design.
  • CAN protocol, UDS (Intermediate knowledge: practical experience and ability to troubleshoot).
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (V model, ASPICE).
  • Experience using DOORS, or requirement tracking tools.
  • Experience using CANOe, CANalyzer, or Similar Tools.
  • Testing experience.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Team work and intercultural orientation.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Responsible and committed to handle tasks independently.
  • Static code analysis (QAC/Misra: Intermediate user).
  • Familiar with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN, Continuous Integration, etc.)

Nice to have

  • Functional Safety knowledge (ISO 26262).
  • Hands-on experience regarding Software Requirements Analysis.
  • Experience integrating Application SW, Tracking activities, Integration activities (Documentation, testing, etc.).
  • Experience working with Automotive Electronic Control Units (ECU's).
