As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the RADAR Application Software, platform integration, system-level software development, and cybersecurity-driven validation of various automotive electronics projects. You will work within a continually evolving world class development process in a dynamic and exciting market.
General Responsibilities
Design and understand all software and hardware systems to work towards new design development.
Familiarity with analog & digital circuits
Ensuring and testing that all functions are working correctly.
Handles the troubleshooting for software and hardware functions.
Identifies and problem solving on any issues that may occur during the scope of the process.
Creating and updating documents to ensure the understanding of any procedures.
Collaborating with other groups of engineers and stakeholders to ensure successful design and implementation.
Maintains and complies with regulations and procedures.
Translate customer application and system requirements into functional software design requirements and solve challenging problems through software development.
Analyses the existing software and improving the processes.
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
