Requirements

We are looking for an experienced
Senior Consultant – Email Security Infrastructure
with strong expertise in enterprise email security platforms such as
Proofpoint, Microsoft Defender for Office (MDO), Agari, KnowBe4, and similar solutions
. The role involves designing, deploying, securing, and optimizing email security environments across
cloud, hybrid, and on-prem Exchange infrastructures
while ensuring compliance, threat protection, and secure communication.

Key Responsibilities

Email Security Architecture & Implementation

• 
  Architect, deploy, administer, and optimize email security platforms (Proofpoint, Defender, Agari, KnowBe4, etc.).

• 
  Implement and manage
  secure-by-design email security architecture
  aligned with cybersecurity frameworks.

• 
  Configure security controls across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem email environments.

Email Authentication & Threat Protection

• 
  Configure and maintain
  SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
  authentication mechanisms.

• 
  Conduct periodic reviews of authentication records to ensure proper configuration and compliance.

• 
  Develop and update policies for spam filtering, virus protection, impersonation detection, content filtering, and URL defense.

Monitoring & Incident Response

• 
  Troubleshoot email flow, filtering issues, and threat detection challenges.

• 
  Participate in incident response, threat mitigation, and security investigations.

• 
  Ensure compliance with email security policies and industry standards.

Collaboration & Business Support

• 
  Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, infrastructure teams, and client stakeholders.

• 
  Support business development activities including proposals, solution design, and proof-of-concept initiatives.

• 
  Maintain documentation, security standards, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  5+ years of experience implementing and managing
  enterprise email security solutions
  .

• 
  Strong expertise in
  Exchange, Google Workspace, or enterprise email infrastructure
  .

• 
  Hands-on experience configuring email security filters, threat detection, and incident response.

• 
  Proven experience implementing
  SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication protocols
  .

• 
  Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.

• 
  Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills / Certifications

• 
  Vendor certifications in email security solutions (
  Proofpoint, Mimecast, Barracuda, Cisco ESA
  ).

• 
  Cloud certifications such as
  AWS, Azure, or GCP
  .

• 
  Knowledge of cloud security, endpoint security, or network security technologies.

• 
  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
