We are looking for an enthusiastic Email Marketing Executive to join the team. Already operating across 6 global sites, this is an exciting time to join the Ecommerce team as we build the key foundations for growth. We require an enthusiastic individual with a genuine willingness and eagerness to learn and support the various functions of the team.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of Joseph Joseph’s Email Marketing strategy.

  • Responsible for managing both broadcast and automated email campaigns via our ESP Ometria, whilst identifying opportunities to optimise performance.

  • Managing the planning, briefing, building, linking, testing, and scheduling of all emails.

  • Monitor our customer database and ensure we remain GDPR compliant.

  • Improve retention rates and help convert leads into customers.

  • Create CRM customer lists for ad-hoc and automated campaigns and digital marketing.

  • Work closely with the Email & CRM Manager on defining and executing the email marketing roadmap to deliver objectives.

  • Work closely with Ometria to understand best practises and find opportunities for improvement.

  • Ideate and execute A/B tests for broadcast and automated emails. Continually monitor and track performance, report on findings and use these to improve future campaigns.

  • Monitor email deliverability and troubleshoot any issues that may occur.

  • Report on channel performance using our internal analytics tools and Ometria, for daily, monthly, and yearly trade reports.

  • Manage all administrative and master documentation including our automated customer journeys, ensuring they are up-to-date and reflect current live status.

  • Work closely with the Ecommerce, Creative and Brand teams to ensure email supports business priorities while driving key KPIs.

  • Assist on SMS strategy, to support the growth of our SMS marketing channel, including planning, scheduling and reporting.

  • Monitoring marketing trends and leading on competitor research to remain competitive within our own email marketing comms.

  • Develop and own our personalisation and segmentation roadmap

  • Assist with seasonal and launch campaign planning and research

  • Working with the trade team on Email Localisation and SKU selection, and owning and managing the email translations process

  • Owning internal email calendar

What we need from you:

  • At least 1 years’ experience in an email marketing role.

  • Have managed an email platform previously (e.g. Ometria, Klaviyo, Emarsys, Braze, MailChimp) in an ecommerce environment. (Ometria experience an advantage, but not required)

  • Knowledge and ability to pull reports using reporting dashboards (e.g. GA4, platform data)

  • Ability to work closely and productively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Have an analytical mindset and the ability to provide insight into performance, using this to make informed decisions.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to spot and correct errors, and ability to thoroughly and comprehensively test links, stock levels and regional variances for every email that gets sent out.

  • Experience with our SMS platform, Attentive, beneficial but not required.

  • Some knowledge of customer segmentation would be beneficial but not required.

  • Some knowledge of editing HTML would be an advantage but not required.

  • Demonstrable eagerness to learn and a desire to grow our email marketing and CRM activities.
