About us

Canteen is all about supporting young people and their families affected by cancer. Founded by young cancer patients, we offer programs and resources that truly make a difference for 12-25 year-olds facing their own diagnosis, supporting a loved one, or grieving. We are now seeking an Email & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to own how Canteen connects with young people and supporters across email, SMS and other channels, and to shape where we take them next. This role offers the chance to make a real impact within the Marketing and Engagement Team and be part of an organisation that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

About our role

  • Use data and audience insight to guide service users towards the support they need and keep supporters engaged and invested.
  • Set the direction for our lifecycle marketing, including the tools and technology we invest in next.
  • Upskill teams across Canteen to deliver more themselves, while remaining the specialist for the complex and technical work.
  • Keep an eye on results and where the industry is heading, so we keep improving and take up new ways to reach people when it makes sense.

About You

  • A lifecycle marketer who's as comfortable in the detail as the big picture, and who wants their work to make a genuine difference to young people affected by cancer.
  • Proven experience delivering email and SMS lifecycle marketing end to end, ideally with Salesforce marketing automation tools.
  • Hands-on expertise building and optimising automated journeys and segmenting audiences from data, and comfortable with the complex, technical builds.
  • A confident communicator who can juggle competing priorities, work across teams, and bring others with them.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
