Job Description

Experience:

• Min 3+ years of experience in developing integrations with email APIs (Gmail, Office 365, Outlook).
• Proven experience in automating tasks using email data (e.g., parsing job descriptions from emails and posting them to ATS systems).
• Experience with building and deploying browser extensions or Office Add-Ins is a plus.

Core Technical Skills:

1. Programming Languages

• Proficiency in Java for backend integration, parsing, and handling email data.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for building browser extensions or Office Add-Ins (for Outlook/Office 365).
• HTML/CSS for creating user interfaces for the plugin (if needed).

• Strong experience working with Gmail API and Microsoft Graph API for accessing email data (Inbox, attachments, email content).
• Expertise in OAuth2 authentication for secure access to Gmail, Office 365, and Outlook accounts.

• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Regex to parse job descriptions from emails.
• Knowledge of text processing techniques for extracting structured information (e.g., job title, description, qualifications, etc.) from raw email content.

• Familiarity with building and consuming REST APIs to create jobs in an ATS system.
• Experience in automating workflows and integrating external data sources (e.g., email content) into your ATS system.

• Familiarity with tools like Google Apps Script (for Gmail automation) or Microsoft Office Add-In development (for Outlook/Office 365).
• Experience with email content extraction from different formats (plain text, HTML, attachments).

• Ability to create basic user interfaces to allow manual adjustments of extracted data before posting to the ATS.
• Familiarity with React or Angular if building more advanced frontend interfaces for browser plugins.

Additional Skills:

1. Version Control

• Strong knowledge of Git for version control and collaborative development.

• Experience in unit testing, debugging, and optimizing email parsing workflows to ensure high accuracy and reliability.

• Knowledge of OAuth2 security protocols and best practices to ensure safe integration with email providers.
• Understanding of data privacy concerns and compliance with regulations like GDPR.

• Experience developing cross-platform plugins for Outlook, Office 365, and Gmail

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills for working with different teams.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to troubleshoot integration issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with product and development teams.
