We are seeking experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Consultants to augment our existing marketing technology team. These consultants will provide hands-on technical expertise and strategic guidance across Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, helping drive platform optimization, integrations, deliverability improvements, and advanced customer engagement solutions.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical consulting, solution architecture, and hands-on platform experience, with the ability to advise stakeholders while implementing scalable solutions.
Serve as a technical advisor on Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities and best practices.
Design, configure, and optimize Marketing Cloud solutions across email, SMS, and customer journey channels.
Consult on email deliverability strategies, including IP warming, sender reputation management, and inbox placement optimization.
Support evaluation and implementation of Marketing Cloud Next capabilities and emerging Salesforce technologies.
Design and implement triggered messaging solutions using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and related Marketing Cloud tools.
Build and optimize customer data capture processes, including forms, integrations, and data management workflows.
Lead API and integration efforts between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and external platforms, applications, and data sources.
Develop and maintain scalable customer data models utilizing Contact Builder and Data Extensions.
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Troubleshoot complex platform, data, and integration issues while recommending long-term solutions.
Provide technical mentorship and knowledge transfer to existing team members.

5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.

Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud APIs (REST and SOAP).
Strong understanding of marketing automation architecture and customer journey orchestration.
Experience designing and supporting triggered messaging solutions.
Knowledge of email deliverability best practices, including:
IP warming
Sender reputation management
Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with CRM, customer data, and third-party platforms.
Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
