This Senior System Engineer will have a strong background in system architecture and requirements partitioning, with a proven track record of making critical architectural decisions that drive project success. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, develop architectural concepts, and ensure the successful integration of various system components.

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Requirements Analysis and Partitioning:
    1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define system requirements.
    2. Partition system requirements into manageable components, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the development process.
    3. Develop and maintain requirement specifications that reflect stakeholder needs and system capabilities.
  2. System Architecture Development:
  1. Lead the design and development of system architecture for drive systems, ensuring alignment with project goals and industry standards.
  2. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and methodologies to support system architecture decisions.
  3. Create and maintain architectural documentation, including system diagrams, specifications, and design rationale.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    1. Work closely with hardware, software, and testing teams to ensure seamless integration of system components.
    2. Facilitate communication between engineering teams to ensure alignment on architectural decisions and requirements.
    3. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to architectural principles.

Qualifications

Master or above in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)

More than 5 years working experience in automotive Traction drive system or Suspension system development

  • Excellent knowledge with Automotive System development methodology (V model development)
  • Excellent knowledge on model-based system engineering and associate tool environment
  • Good knowledge on system architecture buildup and decomposition till components level

3 years working experience of system modeling with Matlab Simulink

Excellent English skills and capable to interact and explain e.g. from Germany to CN local team, good command of German or Japanese language skill is a plus
