We invite high-calibre candidates to fill the ELV & ICT Engineer position in Malaysia and be based at Maverick United Consulting Engineers, Bukit Jalil. KL.

Job Duties

• Prepare and review ELV/ICT system designs, schematics, layouts, specifications, and equipment schedules.
• Coordinate ELV and ICT systems with MEP, architectural, and structural disciplines to ensure fully integrated and buildable designs.
• Manage system integration activities, including interface coordination among ELV, ICT, security, BMS, and other connected systems.
• Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with design requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and client demonstrations to ensure the successful delivery of ELV/ICT systems.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, ICT Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in an engineering consultancy environment with a strong focus on ELV and ICT systems design.
• Familiarity with international standards such as TIA/EIA, BICSI, IEEE, ISO/IEC, and data centre standards.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, ICT network infrastructure, CCTV, access control, security systems, and fibre optic/copper cabling systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM coordination tools, technical submittals, compliance reviews, and testing & commissioning activities.
