Job Description

As an Elite Banker in our Business Banking division, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with small and medium-sized businesses. Your primary focus will be on outbound activities, including cold calling, lead generation, and business development. You will work closely with our branch banking team to deliver an exceptional service experience, ensuring our clients' financial needs are met with tailored solutions.

  • Develop and execute outbound strategies to identify and engage with potential business clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing business clients, understanding their financial goals and needs.
  • Conduct thorough financial assessments and provide tailored banking solutions to businesses.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and market insights to offer relevant and competitive products and services.
  • Collaborate with branch banking colleagues to ensure a seamless and efficient service delivery process.
  • Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities and upsell additional banking products and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions and transactions.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business banking performance and market trends.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and attend industry events to expand the bank's network and presence.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in business banking or financial services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building strong client relationships.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and convert leads into business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other banking software for efficient client management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed business decisions.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards, ensuring all activities adhere to legal requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of outbound activities effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation.
  • A self-motivated and results-driven approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
