Within the Operations area, we are seeking a Should Cost Engineer for our office in Cascina Costa (VA).

The main responsibilities and activities associated with the role are listed below:

  • identify and analyze the technical, functional and performance characteristics of mechanical systems (components, mechanical transmissions, kinematic mechanisms) and hydraulic systems (servo controls and hydraulic circuits)
  • identify and define the cost drivers of mechanical and hydraulic components/equipment
  • estimate the cost of mechanical and hydraulic products by applying the most appropriate industrial cost estimation methods (parametric / analogy / bottom-up). Perform VA/VE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) analyses on mechanical and hydraulic products

Requirements

  • Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering (specialization in mechanical and hydraulic systems)
  • knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems (rotary-wing and/or fixed-wing aircraft)
  • mechanical technologies, development and testing of mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Problem Solving
  • Initiative and motivation
  • VA/VE
  • English, advanced/intermediate level (spoken and written B2/C1 Level)
  • level of experience: 4/5 years in a similar role

Seniority
Junior: 3–5 years of experience

How does the selection process work?
