Within the Operations area, we are seeking a Metodista for our office in Cascina Costa (VA).
Activities:
The Control Method Engineer is responsible for preparing, in compliance with technical project documentation and applicable standards, the technical documentation (methods, operative sheet and CMM part programmes) intended to provide operators—within their area of responsibility—with instructions for activities related to dimensional part inspection and control.
The Control Method Engineer also supports Production in carrying out the dimensional inspection activities, clarifying and improving issued instructions, and resolving non-conformities that arise during the monitored operations.
When required, they may be involved in defining and preparing the documentation necessary for the execution of the First Article Inspection.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Generate instructions, both in descriptive and graphical form, based on drawings and applicable specifications (translation of technical data into work instructions), updating them in relation to technical or design changes, production needs, or technological improvements;
· Prepare, within their area of responsibility, the control method for assemblies and sub-assemblies, using various IT systems connected with Engineering, company systems (SAP), and departmental systems;
· Support Production in carrying out dimensional/inspection activities, clarifying and improving issued instructions;
· Determine task execution times according to maximum efficiency and productivity criteria;
· Manage production documentation for inspection department, supporting it in the correct interpretation of work cycles and construction details;
· Manage inspection documentation for subcontractors, supporting them in the correct interpretation of work cycles and production details;
· Evaluate and implement requests for tooling/method changes (R.M.M.A.);
· Identify investment proposals for the implementation and optimization of activities within their scope of responsibility;
· Interface with the workshop and ensure collaboration among all departments involved in the relevant activities, promoting partecipative approaches and support aimed at problem solving, as well as identifying technological solutions and overall improvements in terms of quality and/or product cost reduction;
· Ensure the transfer of information among different users through effective communication tools;
· Comply with company regulations and procedures, adopting effective behaviors in resolving internal conflicts.
Regardless of the specific know-how related to different activity areas, the Method Engineer should have knowledge of:
· Helicopter components and parts
· Specific technical documentation
· Structural characteristics of commonly used materials (steel, aluminum, carbon fiber, etc.) and machining tolerances
· Industry regulations (specific ISO standards, EASA, ENAC, safety, quality, etc.)
· Organizational communication
Requirements:
Qualification: University degree in Mechanical/ Aeronautical Engineering (master degree)
