Within the Operations Area, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our site in Cascina Costa (VA), Italy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform, with support of all other relevant stakeholders, cost deployment data analysis in order to scout for possible initiatives; carrying out advanced data collection and analysis where necessary to support specific ones
  • Support all production plants in expediting the identified initiatives, and generating new ones in order to match the assigned targets
  • Support all production plants in order to collect all ongoing initiatives, evaluate economic impacts and timely distribution; track adherence to plans and initiatives status at higher level; identify, risks and escalate where necessary
  • Track economic results of identified initiatives and impacts on plant performances with the help of relevant stakeholders (work analysis, specific project responsible) for the final validation to be performed
  • Promote Plant by Plant Continuous Improvement project roadmap over the year
  • Conduct problem solving sessions, determining problem metrics, troubleshooting root causes, possible solution scenarios, and settling all preliminary activities for project launch (effort and budget definition, KPI, plan for implementation, plant production capacity evaluation)
  • Develop and conduct periodical reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure change is permanent
  • Support training/workshops to drive cultural change

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Scientific bachelor's or master degree from an accredited University;
  • Seniority: previous experience in manufacturing (within continuous improvement, quality or manufacturing engineering) or in project management and in process optimization and/or implementation of Kaizen-projects. In addition, previous experience in project management and leading improvement project teams is preferred;
  • Technical skills and competencies: good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies;
  • Soft skills: good problem solving, analytical and leadership skills; good communication skills, both verbal and written, and team leading capabilities; capability to work in multicultural environment; proactivity and self-motivation; ability to overcome obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches; ability to build collaborative working relationships;
  • Language skills: upper-intermediate command of the English language (B2 level);
  • Digital skills: office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word);
  • Additional requirements: willingness to travel.

How does the selection process work?
